What is Allegiant Airlines?

Wondering what the hype about Allegiant Airlines is? Have you heard the name Allegiant thrown around, but still aren’t quite sure what it is all about? Keep reading to find out all about Allegiant and the great things it offers.

Allegiant Airlines, founded in 1997, is focused on giving you the best deal. Since Allegiant gives you a great deal, they might do things a little bit differently from other airlines that you are familiar with. For example, they don’t fly on every day of the week. They offer flights on days most people like to travel. Also, they don’t fly to every city, but they do fly to the most popular vacation destinations.

Non-Stop Flights

From Appleton, Allegiant flies non-stop to three great vacation destinations: Las Vegas, Orlando/Sanford, and Phoenix/Mesa. Customers really like being able to fly non-stop—you get on the plane in Appleton, and a couple hours later you get off in your warm-weather destination. You don’t have to worry about getting a connecting flight at another airport.

Luggage

You also don’t have to worry about lost luggage: it’s loaded right onto the plane in Appleton and arrives with you at your destination! Another way Allegiant saves you money is if you don’t check a bag, you don’t pay the bag fee. You only pay to cover the costs of the luggage you do choose to bring, which saves you money.

The Aircraft

Allegiant flies larger aircraft from Appleton, our planes are either an MD-80 (166 seats) or an Airbus 319, which has 156 seats. This means you’re not flying a small regional jet, there’s more headroom, and plenty of space for carry-on luggage and a comfortable flight.

Customers also appreciate that Allegiant is also a vacation company. On the Allegiant website you’ll find dozens of great deals at hotels and resorts. Allegiant packages airfare, hotels, and even rental cars if you like. This results in travelers getting the best price possible. The hotel partners range from economy to luxury, so you’ll be sure to find the perfect hotel for you and your budget.

Right now, Allegiant is offering Appleton customers an extra $25 discount on air + hotel packages to Orlando, just use the discount code ATW25 at the checkout.

Allegiant truly does make leisure travel affordable and convenient. With low-low fares, nonstop, all-jet service and premier travel partners, Allegiant provides a complete travel experience with great value and without all the hassle.

The Allegiant schedule for February 2017 will be released in the fall, probably in September. In 2016, Allegiant’s travel days were Monday and Friday, but there is no way to predict what they will do this year. Thanks for asking!
