ATW is the third largest airport in Wisconsin.

The airport serves Northeast Wisconsin via five airlines (American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Allegiant Air and Sun Country) with nonstop service to 22 destinations, including 8 major hubs (Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Orlando), 14 popular destinations (Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Fort Myers, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Gulf Shores/Pensacola, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York/Newark, Orange County/Los Angeles, Orlando/Sanford, Phoenix/Mesa, Portland, Sarasota/Bradenton, Savannah/Hilton Head, Tampa/St. Pete).
