EAA Volunteer Sign Up

Take part in the aviation event of the year! We are looking for volunteers to support operations during EAA AirVenture 2024.

Airplane Parking Field Marshall
This role works in the grass airplane parking area to help guide arriving planes to their spot. This can involve pushing airplanes back.

Field Courtesy Van Driver
This role drives one of several courtesy vehicles transporting visitors to and from the grass airplane parking area of the Appleton Flight Center building along a prescribed route. ATW-issued Security Badge required.

Golf Cart Ramp Driver
This role drives one of three golf carts transporting visitors to and from the ramp hard surface airplane parking near the Appleton Flight Center building to the building. ATW-issued Security Badge required.

Reception Area and Office Help
This role provides support duties within the Appleton Flight Center Lobby. Duties may include preparing coffee, stocking restrooms, and helping at the front desk or in the back office. Duties are varied and dependent on the support needed by the Flight Center Employees.

We are allowing teenagers 14 and older to volunteer.  There are a couple of expectations. The parent/guardian must volunteer and will always be with the 14 – 15-year-old.  Both the teen and the parent/guardian sign up separately.  There will need to be a minor release form signed before the minor (same as anyone below 18) volunteers.
