ATW has collaborated with Wings for Autism, Air Wisconsin, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to introduce an airport rehearsal specifically designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, their families, and aviation professionals.
This program, Wings for Autism, is crafted to alleviate the stress experienced by families with a child on the autism spectrum during air travel. Families are provided with the opportunity to rehearse navigating the airport, acquiring boarding passes, undergoing security procedures, and boarding a plane.
Additionally, Wings for Autism creates an opportunity for airport, airline, Transportation Security Administration professionals, and other personnel to observe, interact, and enhance their services within a structured learning environment
THERE WILL BE TWO GROUPS:
· First Boarding Group @ 12:00 PM
· Second Boarding Group @ 1:00 PM
